Grumman TBF from VT-8 at Midway Island June 1942. This is the only aircraft from the entire VT-8 squadron, their TBDs from Hornet and the TBFs from Midway Island, to survive the Midway battle. Shot up, this plane made it back to Midway for a crash landing.

This is an updated version - reshaped and re-scaled to bring it up to current EAW standards of accuracy. It also has a new prop and a new paste-on turret added.

The original model was an improved version of Microprose's TBF in"1942: Pacific Air War" done by Woolfman.

For use with Moggy's Midway campaign, Pacific Tide 2 or with Charles Gunst's ECA (Enemy Coast Ahead) Panel. It uses the P-47D slot.

To install, just unzip the *.TPC and *.3DZ files into your EAW directory.

The .PCX files for this aircraft are included if you'd like to try your hand at adding your own markings.

Have fun,

Captain Kurt
